Dang Ms Smith, aka diamond dust. The other day you were calling yourself an asshole, now it's the big "B" *lol*.
I don't know how to answer this question without qualifying it. I have to know what battle ground we are playing on. If we are talking about the rules to love and lovers, that's a slippery slope as you testified in your "asshole" post. Some believe the rule is to love the one you're with. I don't know about that one.
I tend to believe in the golden rule ....do onto others as I would have them do onto me.
I wouldn't want to be a rule-ler because I would be constantly checking to see who was following my rules and that would be way to much. Heck, my children never followed all my rules and I am sure glad they didn't.
One rule I should impose on myself has to do with food. Well, I've been putting on way to many pounds and I should put an alarm clock by my kitchen table. Is that a rule or a warning *smile*?
I tend to believe that if I find myself in a room of like thinking individuals that I might be in the wrong place. Therefore I think it's best to NOT rule-out the fact that others may have a better way to do something than I. Consequently I will defer my rule making assignment to others and follow those that are right and run from those that are glaringly wrong.
Btw, I don't know if you came back to my spot but I did post a reply to your reply.
Oh, you can no longer refer to yourself as a Bioch, asshole or any of the following ....prick, dimwit, man theif, butthole, satan, cynic, hater, ho, loser, stanky leg, fool or government employee. Wait, scracth the last one *lol*. The next post I read over here, I want you to come out smelling like roses. Just forget about your guy friend and dream pleasant thoughts *smile*. That jerk doesn't deserve your. He can't handle you! Oh, you can't use jerk either.
You're right, I do need to be careful about how I refer to myself. We're going somewhere with this, though, I promise. :)
That question is hard to answer -- it's partly why I haven't answered it and maybe the difficult nature of the question is really what I was getting at. My little mind wheels are turning, so we'll see what happens.
